News and Updates:

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS!

On Friday, May 31st we will be honoring our UCS volunteers at our Volunteer Appreciation Assembly.  Our volunteers have helped in so many ways this year:

  • Welcome back picnic

  • Chaperoning field trips

  • Helping in classrooms

  • Serving on PTO

  • Helping with garden/planting our new tree

  • Snow motion ski program

  • Coaching GOTR

  • Kids on Bikes

Volunteers, please join us at 8:00am on the 31st as we honor and thank you for the time you have given to our school community this year!!

Sign Up Genius for 4th Grade Celebration:

On June 7th, 4th graders will be heading to Mills Riverside Park for part of day. Please send back the yellow permission form so that your 4th grader can attend.  You can also sign up to help with our 4th grade celebration and ice cream sundae bar. You can access the sign up here. Please get all items to school by June 7th. Thank you!


PE BIKE UNIT

Because of field trips happening this week, students in grades 3,4 will bike on the following day during PE:

Bernier-Thursday

Melone- Friday

Giguere- Thursday


Please note:  there is still Kids on Bikes happening Tuesday, so if your child participates in that program they will need their bike tomorrow

Summer Camp Opportunity:  Ms. Nancy from Math Through Art is offering a summer camp.  Here is the information.

4th grade events: 

We are busy planning for end of the year events.  There are many events that happen for 4th graders.  Here are some of the events that are planned so far:

Thursday, May 30: 4th Grade Track Meet at MMU track (Rain Date June 3rd)

Friday, May 31: 4th Grade Move Up Day at BRMS (afternoon)

Friday, June 7: 4th grade family celebration and fun day (Mills Riverside Park)


IMPORTANT DATES FOR RISING 5TH GRADERS (From BRMS)

5/28:  Rising 5th Grade Parent Orientation Night, 6:30 p.m.

5/31:  Rising 5th Grade Move Up Day (leave UCS around 11:00 a.m.)
