It's a Small World!

Japanese Culture

Today, Angela Smith came into our classroom to share what she knows about Japanese culture.  We learned how birthdays are celebrated, how New Year's is celebrated, and a lot about food, especially Osechi, Candied Sardines and Mochi!
We watched a couple of videos that shows how children eat lunch at school and how the whole school works together to clean the school!

Thank You Mrs. Smith!!

We also watched a couple of videos of children having lunch at school in Japan. Ask your child how lunchtime at school is different in Japan!
