What a great first day we had! Children shared their summer items. I was so impressed with how they listened to each other and the questions they asked one another!
We did a lot of "housekeeping" today which means we learned and reviewed routines such as lining up, coming to meeting and direction time prompts such as the chimes, "Give me Five", and 5-5-10 (ask your child what 5-5-10 looks and sounds like!) . We explored the book area and read Don't Eat the Teacher and First Day Jitters. Ask your child who had the jitters in the story!
This week we will be reviewing and learning more about daily routines and doing more activities to get to know each other!
